| I bought this book for my niece and nephew about 2 years ago and upon reading it myself, I found it to be educational, interesting, and informative. I learned a lot myself about these great birds. My sister even liked it a lot, and the kids loved the illustrations. I even thought that they were great. This would be a great book for homeschooling or for teachers to bring to class around THANKSGIVING so that kids could learn about turkeys and its a great book for animal lovers too. | My granddaughter just loves this book. She wanted to finish the book the first night but Mom said bedtime ruled. Have reread the book 4 times and she still wants more. I highly recomend this book for great bonding time. |

| I relied on the positive reviews on Amazon and purchased this product for my granddaughter. I personally was disappointed, as there are only 8 birds included in the book. However, I will say that my grandaughter seems to enjoy the book (I wouldn't say she "loves" it) and a few of the birds like the Killdeer and Spotted Towhee are not common to youngsters so, it does provide a tiny bit of educational value. |

| This book is my 2 1/2 year old daughter's favorite book. She asks for it every night for reading time. She loves to say "Fix IT Duck" at the appropriate points in the story. The illustrations are great and add to the story. Make sure to pay attention to the pictures even on the non-worded pages (especially page1). I think this is the second book in a series of books about the Duck, Frog, Goat, and Sheep. I really like most of the books the the author has written. |

| My child loves to draw, even though admittedly is not yet very good at it. This book has shown the way to better drawing skills in a step-by-step way. There is nothing "cartoon-ish" about the drawings, as they are realistic portayals, which is what my child is striving for. Not too difficult though, for a younger child either. My 8-year-old absolutely loves all the books in this series. They don't involve much reading at all. Each pictures shows many steps from beginning to end, not just a few. |

| This book is about a mother duck that cannot find one of her ducklings. She goes around asking the other denizens of the pond if they have seen it. The fun thing is that, if you look, you will find where the duckling is.
There are few words in this book, so be aware of the reading level (baby-preschool). However, the artwork is very well done, and the fun of having the little reader find the missing duckling on each page makes the whole thing worthwhile. |
