| I'm very excited about this book; enjoyed it thoroughly with my kids. Each page of the book has a 2-page, full-bleed illustration done in the style of oil-on-canvas. The contents gave a clear, concise view of who Pasteur is, what microbes are, and why Pasteur's contributions are significant.
The contents are a more comprehensive insight into Pasteur's work than you'd find in an encyclopedia, but less than you'd find in a biography or science journal. In other words, just right for elementary school kids. ... Read More: |

| recently i had to do a major science project; one that i had to turn in or else i wouldn't get a passing grade in the class. my teacher happened to have that book, and just by flipping through the book a couple of times, i knew what my project was going to be on. it gave me suggestions on how and why and what happened. it's a great book, and if n-e-1 needs a project, this is the book! |

| This is a beautiful book and my 8 year old daughter refers to it occasionally, but I think that because so many of the animals in it are never seen in Sydney, Australia my children aren't really into this book. It hasn't inspired them to get into the garden and look around. |

This made the T-Rex mad so the little boy hid in the bushes. Then he was found by a dimetrodon, and when he went to escape that dinosaur, he encountered another one.
