| I use this book in elementary classrooms as an anticipatory set for thinking about patterns before we make a math pattern game. It works as well with 6th gradeers as it does with 3rd graders. They begin to look at their surroundings using a different paradigm! |

| A highly recommended book. Liked by the children's panel of Alice 9, Emma 7, and Lucy 5. Particularly fond of the optical illusions and funny references to "ant poo and lots of tickling." The stylized cursive writing is a little hard to read for the very young aged 5, but pages that look as if they have been eaten and pages you can feel and the page you can scrunch up are fun. Thanks to the London Times (Dec. 8-14th 07)for this review. |

| This book is really good in the beginning, but it's weak at the end. It is a good book, but the chapters lack order. It has some humor, and we learned a lot about wild animals. She uses complex words, but she includes context clues so we were able to figure out what they mean. We recommend this book for fourth through seventh graders and adults who love animals. |

| I felt that this was a wonderful book. I read this book to a third grade classroom and they all loved the story. They especially loved the illustrations. I loved the way all the animals seemed to blend in with with the plants. I would recommend this book to everyone. This book is a must see for all children and adults. |
