| This was my 8th grade son's summer reading. He could not stop reading it and it caused him to initiate a lot of conversation with us about the holocaust. Since it was from the perspective of a girl his own age, he really identified with it. |

| "Thank You, Sarah" is a book elementary school children find exciting. Virtually unknown to all the students (as a library teacher, I presented it to 3rd, 4th and 5th grades)it is read to, they become involved in the narration and fun political cartoon illustrations. Great title. |

| I bought this book for my eight year old daughter, who absolutely loves history! She loved this book, as did I. The book goes through the alphabet recognizing different women of history who have contributed to this great nation. The illustration, in my opinion, is wonderful. Hats off to Lynne Cheney and Robin Preiss Glasser. Well Done! |

| The book tells partially my history too. The pictures are worth thousand words, yet, the beautiful drawings together with the short descriptive
sentences make understanding of the history easy. Thank you, Peter Sis for the work. | We love the "First Little House" book series. We have all of them but Farmer Boy Birthday and love them all. We have read "Little House in the Big Woods" out loud but my daughter still likes to read the books w/ pictures as well.
The art work is beautiful and the story true to Laura's own story. |
