The "Knucklehead" was very naughty with some crazy tricks. The front of the book makes it look like a comic book but it's really not. It's a chapter book with short chapters and some photos. Jon is a naughty kid who is forever going outdoors or playing tricks on his four younger brothers. This is the story of the author and the funny things that happened when he was a kid. | Garen Thomas has done a good service in writing this book that can inspire both the young and the adult. The illustrations add spice to the book. Obama's life is full of events and struggles and his burning faith and optimism are rare bonuses for mankind as a whole. Barack Obama is the new angel of this era and he has a Midas touch.

| This is one of the greatest books written on the Lewis and Clark expedition. It has every element of a great novel let alone the historic, factual, epic it is. There are passages that can make one weep as well as those which terrify. Some day, hopefully soon, a movie-maker will turn this book into an award winning film and reveal to the public the depth and majesty of this great American adventure. |

| On reading this book a few years ago, it was my -- 'hit', hunch, or opinion -- that the protagonist did not die from an accidental overdose, as the editor implied, but was murdered for having informed upon several high school students who were selling drugs to other students, likely as 'foot_soldiers' in an organized crime ring. \ |

| I purchased the book for my 9 year old daughter and she loved it. She learned so many interesting facts about their lives prior to being the megastars they are today, etc. It was written well, easy to read and very informative. |

If Barak Obama was not so liberal, but rather a conservative, who wanted to put prayer and christianity back in schools, and out law homosexuality everywhere, outlaw abortion, and not be the communist that he is, I would most certainly vote for him. It's not the color of his skin that bothers me but the fact that he is a major communist who will lead our nation straight into the pits of hell! |

| I read this story for a book club, and that sense of accountability was the main reason that I finished it.
The McCourt family's life did not have to be so bad, and the children did not have to be malnourished. I know we have no right to judge others, but how could the parents keep spending what little they had on alcohol and cigarettes and give the babies sugar water to quiet them when they were hungry?
