| What a fun book! I wish my 5th grade presidential education had been this much fun! It summarizes the way of the presidency, along with a bunch of neat facts about the U.S. Presidents themselves. It discusses presidents' childhoods, careers, habits, pets, etc. Its a lot of fun and sadly educational. The pictures are a lot of fun--they're very cartoony and look eerily like the actual presidents. There is a lot of information processed into an easy and fun read. |

| I bought this book for my sister so I don't know how it is but it came in good condition it took a long time to arrive though alot longer than I thought we went to the beach and back before the book got here |

However, I was soon intrigued by little Oliver, a quiet, naturally pleasant little boy, and who is apparently a magnet for bad company and lives in a workhouse. I wondered how he could remain so sweet and childish through all he'd been through.

| Riding freedom is a story about a girl named Charlotte who lives in an orphanage. She runs away and pretends to be a boy. After disguising herself as a boy she changes her name to Charley. She is chosen to drive stagecoaches and work at a barn. The main characters in this story are: Charlotte, Hayward, Mr. Millshark, Mr. Ebeneezer Vern and Mrs. Boyle. Once when Charlotte was driving a stagecoach a storm came right after she got across the bridge, it collapsed. This is an adventure for me.

I have an 8 y.o. son who is very inquisitive, but getting him to read voluntarily on his own is somewhat of a chore. I got him this book for Christmas, and he read it on his own,not wanting to put it down in the morning, before his carpool arrived. After he finished the book, he asked,"Mom, can we get the one about John F. Kennedy?" Enough said. |

| This diary, about Catherine the Great, was enjoyable and exciting. It describes Catherine's family and her journey to meet her future husband. He doesn't quite meet up to her expectations, but they learn to enjoy each others company. Catherine's future as his wife looks good...until he gets smallpox.
I especially like the paintings at the back of the book, so I can see what the different people looked like. The extra information about Catherine's later life is also very good. |

When Squanto was young white men came to his village and he went to London with them. Then he wanted to go back to his village so he was took back to it with Charles Robin a friend of his. But then . . . . I guess you will just have to read it on your own. |
