| I like the book because when I read it it helped me land new tricks. I learned a lot about Tony Hawk. He would never give up and he would always try to land tricks no matter what. He wanted to get better and that told me that it doesn't matter how much pain you are in when you land it. It is all worth it because now you have a new trick. | An excellent read for my 11_year old. He was so excited to tell me every detail, chapter by chapter... Even the gory details he read about the logging industry in S. Amer. Believe it or not, this look at a world so different from his American life is what really kept him going and going, even through some of the vague symbolism of the "keeper's" spirit, etc, which of course, made good conversation for us to talk about our family's spirituality. | A truly captivating book. I remember reading it over six years ago, and I still love it now. I've always been interested in the Tudors, and this was a gentle stepping stone for me when I was younger. Elizabeth speaks and behaves like a girl her age should, but you still get an immense sense of the lifestyle of the princess. This is a book that controls the stereotypes that are specified towards the Tudors, and is simply a good read. Most likely the best book in the Royal Diaries collection. |
