| I bought this book to read to my Kindergarten class. The book provides information on several different tribes and their culture. Although I found it to be a bit "wordy" for 5-year-olds, I showed the interesting and colorful illustrations and summarized the parts I felt they needed to know. Overall, a good teaching resource and I will use it again. |

| I did not purchase this book on Amazon, but I had to write a review anyway. I got my copy of The Cage on a trip to the Holocaust museum with my family, when I was in the 5th grade. On the drive back, I did nothing but read this book. Since then (I'm now 19) I've re-read it so many times that it's falling apart. Riva's story is compelling, heart wrenching, and still beautiful and courageous.

| I purchased this book after I saw the "Leonardo di Vinci" exhibit at my local museum. This particular exhibt showcased his inventions, not his artwork. There were many full size replicas of machines that he thought of that were actually built for this exhibit. I was intrigued by the bridge that could be built with just a few stick and got stronger the more weight you put on it. | This is one of my favorite books when it comes to have a story hour with children 8-12 years old (and not 4-8, even though younger children can still be fascinated by the story, the logic here and kind of information requires more maturity!).
