| My wife and I enjoyed reading this book to our kids, 4 and 6. They laughed out loud at the picture of the pink bath bubbles getting out of hand. The story also sends a good message for families--try to see things from the other family members' point of view and try to have some sympathy for them. The fact that Mama and Papa Bear get so tired that they fall asleep while trying to put their cubs to bed is very cute and true to life. | Caillou is a terrific t.v. show in my opinion. Both my boys adore him and they are 1 and 2. Caillou is acting like a lot of typical little 4 year old boys that is the point of the show. My 2 year old is about to be 3 and has been watching Caillou since 1 1/2 and he is autistic and has not demonstrated any bad behaviors as a result of the show. | This is in our Top 10 of children's books, and we highly recommend it for families of kids age 3 and up. Makes a great gift, and companion to Rathmann's other new classic, Goodnight, Gorilla. Helps kids develop the ability to interpret the story visually, without lots of text; encourages counting, I Spy searches...and yeah, it's a hoot. |

| My 4-year old has fears for darkness so I thought reading this book might help! I read it to him only once and I regretted it immediately. Too late, it made him more scared of darkness, now he has to check closets (he never did this before) and is worried that monsters are hiding there. Be aware parents!!! |
