| Much like the beloved Goodnight Moon, the lyrical nature of Margaret Wise Brown's long lost manuscript had a soothing effect on my dreamland bound four year old.

| I felt those 800 pages. Like others, around pg 600 I began to skim to move things a long. Gemma was just to stupid. Giving Circe magic, and Pippa for that matter. Her friends had almost no redeem qualities to them. I began to like Felicity in book 2, but in this book she had no personality other than selfish and spoiled. The friendship of the four girls just became unbelievable because they were all so unlikeable. It was a disappointing end, mostly because nothing happened. |

| Of all the Dr. Seuss books I have from my childhood, I hadn't seen this until browsing on Amazon. This is great! (not that I'm surprised coming from the Seuss line). I had a blast reading it, and it's the first book my new daughter has seemed to actually respond to. I'd definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a "new read". |

| This book was much smaller than I expected (I bought the hardcover edition). It's about the size of my hand. The story disappointed me too. It starts out fine, but you're left hanging at the end. I don't think I'd have bought it if I had read it in the store.

| Nancy Tillman's other book, "On the Night You Were Born" was my favorite to read to my daughter- this new one is just as wonderful. The illustrations are gorgeous andd the story is great to read. Definitely a high quality book. I recommend the set to any new parent. |
