| I can't say how much I loved the Jolly Postman books when I was young. I remember saving my money up to buy both the books. I still have them in excellent condition, and keep them up from my daughter so she doesn't loose the "letters". I can say the only bad thing is that they didn't make more books.
The Jolly Christmas Postman is a MUST for every child. It is timeless! |

| My 8 year old son 1st 4 in the Encyclopedia Brown books by Donald J. Sobol for Christmas but has yet to have read them. We discovered that they are "new" and the Volume 1-4 is different than the "old" Volume 1-4. He has loved these books. They are titled Boy Detective, Case of the Secret Pitch, Finds the Clues, and Gets His Man. As an extra bonus he was delighted to find out that his father had read these books too. |

| I had this book when I was a child, along with other books written and/or illustrated by Mercer Mayer. Mayer's artwork has always been captivating in a slightly eerie way. There was something slightly spooky about the artwork to me as a kid but I loved all the books because there was so much to look at.
I introduced the book (my own copy still in great shape) to my toddler (16 month old) daughter and she LOVES it now. She requests it 20 times a day. I'm sure she will continue to love it for years to come. |

| I read this book to my daughter from the time she was one; she is now six. Now she gets a thrill out of reading it herself. My son is two years old; he is also eager for story time, and it is also one of his first picks. The kids love exploring the illustrations, and each time noticing something new. As a mother, I enjoyed reading this book to my children. It is wonderful, charming and memorable. |

| It seems that David is nothing but trouble in this colorful tale. But Mom loves him no matter what mistakes he makes, which makes this a great book for those times when a child feels like they're nothing but a bundle of mistakes.

| I really like this book. I got if for my 2 year old to get her familiar with Christmas. Last year she had just turned 1 and had no idea what was going on other than she got to rip a lot paper. It is basically a parody of Jingle Bells and we sing it almost every night as it is one of her top 3 books right now. |
