| my son never let the dentist perform the full cleaning until after we read this book together. kids who like dora will most likely respond well on their next dental visit when they see dora acting like a big girl and letting the dentist examine and clean her teeth. i convinced my son that the dentist will make his teeth white and shiny like dora's - he fell for it like a champ! thanks Dora!! :-) |

| We LOVE this hilarious book! My husband and I read it together for our 1 year-old son (I usually read the Pookie part) and it cracks us up every time. When my son is upset and getting fussy, simply reciting the 1st few lines of the book will often calm him down. This is a family favorite and we highly recommend it. |

| I purchased this for my 3 1/2 year old. He loves it. Most of it was pretty easy for him, but I am so glad I got it. He loves stickers so the first few pages were a neat way to get started. The one on one time with Mom is wonderful and he looks forward to it every day. We usually did 3-4 pages each day. It is bright and colorful and the paper is very sturdy. |

| Do you like pig books? If you do you will like Olivia and The Missing Toy by Ian Falconer. I like this book because I think its funny.
It's about a pig that is named Olivia. In the story Olivia the pig puts her doll down on her bed, looks away, then looks back and it is gone. She looks and does not find it. I'm not going to tell you more so go pick it up at a store near you and find out what happens. You will be surprised who took her doll. |

| My older niece doesn't like spinach. Not even after reading this book :)
She eats other vegetables, though. I bought this book because she liked it when we checked it out of the library, not to teach a moral lesson. We both think it's really funny that Little Pea has to eat candy in order to get spinach, and the illustrations of Little Pea's day are perfectly well done. I definitely recommend it. |

| I first received this book as a gift from my daughters daycare teacher. We read it every night for years. When I came across it again on Amazon, I had to purchase it.
