| My 11-year old son loves to draw. His skills are self taught, and he has checked out MANY books from the library over the years. He recently checked out this book and declared it one of the best he'd ever seen. (I bought it from Amazon for a Christmas present.) Even though he already understands shading, perspective, etc., he thought this book helped him improve even more. The book also has a lot on drawing people and faces, which can be very challenging. |

| I bought this on a whim for my 4 year old daughter and this is her absolute favorite cd. She's now 5 and still listens to it YEAR ROUND! Highly recommend this - it's one of wee sing's best! |

| My 2-1/2 yr old daughter really enjoys her Kumon workbooks. She calls them "homework", and she has several workbooks: mazes, tracing, coloring - they are all great. |

| I purchased the book for my 9 year old daughter and she loved it. She learned so many interesting facts about their lives prior to being the megastars they are today, etc. It was written well, easy to read and very informative. |

| I don't think this book is quite as great as some other reviews have made it out to be, but it has been better for my couple of younger students than the Mel Bay book. The smaller, easier 3 string chord forms are good for young kids that don't have hands big or strong enough to play full 5 and 6 string chords. Towards the end there is a good mixture of single notes and chords which is nice. The variety of songs do a decent job of teaching about different rhythms and rests. | Ed Emberley's drawing books never disappoint! This book shows you with the simplets of instructions how to draw witches, skeletons and a haunted house, among other things. As with all Ed Emberley books, the instructions are exceptionally easy for even the most artistically challenged.
