| I purchased this book for my 6 year old and he loves it. Even my three year old loves it. It has wonderful color illustration that show in very easy steps just how to draw each animal. It is very easy to follow, even for those young kids who cannot read quite yet. This is a great book for kids of all ages who love to draw and color. |

| I love the graphics and the paper that this book is printed on. Be aware that most of the cutting is pretty challenging, even for my first graders. If your child doesn't have great fine motor skills, be prepared to help them with the cutting. That being said, it is great for developing those skills that teachers don't have a lot of time to teach these days- like cutting and gluing. |

| This is a great beginners book for preschool age children. It's also great for teaching yourself and your child. I'm not a great drawer and I loved this book. I can do this and so can you. There are easy to follow step by step instructions along with colorful pictures of what it is supposed to look like, using basic shapes. | I thoroughly enjoyed the author's previous 3 books: One Red Dot, Blue 2 and 600 Black Spots. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by this book. It is quite derivative from the earlier works and offers little in the way of imagination, fun or whimsy. Unless you are a collector and want the book for completeness, I would recommend the earlier works as alternatives, especially for gift giving. |

| My son loves to read about Harold's adventures over and over and over again. After Harold, it's Cyrano, a caterpillar failing in school in Life's Little Lessons: An Inch-By-Inch Tale of Successand then Nate the piglet that turns a school upside down when he visits in The Big Squeal: A Wild, True, and Twisted Tail.
