| My aim is to cover shakespeare this year with my 9th grader (I home-school). I purchased this book along with "Twelfth Night". I am so happy I did. The whole original text is included along with a translation of the play in todays english. At the end of the book there are MANY, MANY exercises and tests for the student to complete to ensure they have understood what they read. | This was our first book by Greg Tang, and I loved it so much, and can not wait to get my hands on more of his books. My son loves math, and I am always looking for new ways to challenge his thinking about the subject. This book is by far the best I have come across for that type of reading. I love the fact that the author was able to take two subjects, math and art, and intertwine them so that kids are really learning about two things at one time. | I have read, excuse me, I have sung this book well over 200 times to my daughter in the last few months. It is a favorite of ours, and I was tickled by the additional verses it had in the book.
Her favorite part is the "crocodile scream" and the "lion roar", she loves to make the animal noises along with the song. This is a great book for young children. | Lots of different and interesting activities but the stickers didn't stick so well on the book. Maybe it is so you can do the activities over again or reposition the stickers, but I ended up with stickers all over the floor when my little ones took off with big sister's book. |
