| My Grandson had checked out a couple of the Look-Alike books from the Library. He really liked them, so I decided to get him one for his 5TH birthday. He really enjoys finding the look alike objects in the pictures, and spends a long time for a five year old doing so. |

| The design and content of this book is very well-done. However, the problem (a big one) is the construction. The paper used for the pages is quite flimsy. My 18-month old daughter was able to rip the pages with ease due to the cut-out design of the pages.
I would have easily given this a 5-star rating if not for the poor choice in paper. Definitely consider this carefully if buying for younger children. |

| My grandchildren began enjoying this book well before their first birthdays and loved them, almost always wanting to have them "read." The book is beautifully produced and introduces each letter with four works of art from the Met collection that exemplify the letter. "B," for example, is "boat" and the four art works are from different periods and styles but all have recognizable "boats" in them. | Tommy in this book seems spoiled and not willing/able to make something out of what he is given. He seems like a brat that wants his way and that is it. All artists learn to draw by looking. While bucking conventions is a good lesson, doing it as a spoiled child that thinks they have all the answers is not. |
