| I checked this out from the library and kept it so long, I decided I needed to have my own copy. I am purchasing it, not only for myself and children to look at and discover the art, but as a resource for art projects at the camp I work for. It gets your wheels turning about all the different media and types of art. |

| I ordered two of these for six year olds but ended up putting them aside for older children. I'd say eight or ten would be the youngest. Also, I was surprised that one page asks the children to draw what they think God looks like. I'm not totally comfortable giving that as a gift. I believe there was also a question about a crime and another about someone they hated. I hope most six year olds don't hate anyone yet. I'm not sure I even want them thinking about it. | We purchased this product for our three-year old grandson. And what a find it turned out to be!
He went through the book with Grandma, finding the items I named from the text and then also finding items I noticed and named on my own from the picture. Then he immediately took the book to Grandpa to repeat the process. All three of us loved seeing the art work and watching for details. | I bought this for my 5 year old son who LOVES to draw. The steps were pretty easy to follow. It breaks the whole thing down into simple shapes. We have enoyed drawing the dinosaurs together and he enjoys it alone. If your child likes to draw and likes dinosaurs, he will have fun with this book! |

| My daughter and I love this book! It is fun, easy and has all the basic and secondary elements of pop-up I was looking for. We have made unique cards and journals such a pop-up tent in Yosemite with hand drawn scenery, a thank you card of a cylindrical water bottle, a zoo, a circus, and people popping forward. Suggestion: cut out magazines and old greeting cards if you're self-conscious about your ability to draw (like I am). Looking forward to making more. |
