| I've reviewed many of the Berenstain Bears books available at Amazon. I mix these books into the bedtime reading rotation for our two young sons. I like these books because they allow me to review manners, morales and important lessons at the end of the day.

| Just a cute, silly, kinda pointless book about hippos and their love of their belly buttons.
My sister and I have taken to quoting this book at random intervals throughout the day. It grows on you. It's not as catchy as most of Boynton's work, but it definitely has its own charm. |

This book is really an early reader, it's not *intended* for children under that age, though of course it can function as a read-aloud for little-little ones.
