| This is a good book about the adventures Corduroy goes on in order to find a button. He *doesn't* find a button, but that's all right - a little (African-American, if that's relevant) girl takes him home anyway. "I like you just the way you are!"
I do find that Corduroy's dialog is a little sappy, and it's somewhat weird to me that he can actually talk to Lisa, but it's still a good book. |

| Times have changed. Little kids left home alone and shouldn't they have been told by their parents not to let anyone in?
This is the book that must of led to a lot of wild house parties and may have spawned many party while your parents are away flicks (Risky Business, etc). A good fun read with a lilting cadence! |

| I have "oh so many" childrens books, but the ones that I don't dread reading a hundred million times (and pretend that they were lost) are all the Sandra Boynton books.They're great! |

| Fancy Nancy is delightful & this book does not disappoint. One very clever note I wanted to point out to all of you parents reading this book to your daughters...Nancy's dad says the dog is a LaSalle Spaniel - if you turn back a couple of pages you'll see that the animal shelter is the "LaSalle Street Animal Shelter" - TOO cute (I missed it the first few reads ;-)) |

| I have recently given this book to three parents of small children. Inevitably, both the children and the parents thought it was unbelievably cool. It was a learning experience, as it led to discussions about how the pictures were made to "move." It also held attention for a long time, as it was dynamic. Though children often go through books rather quickly (chewing, ripping, etc), the Gallop book is sturdy enough to stand up to such use better than most. | This was our first Mo Willems book and my great grandchildren loved it!
Funny, well drawn, and contains a great lesson, too. We'll be adding to our Mo Willems library. |

| This is a great book for kids, even young ones around 2.5 years old. It's an engaging story and my son loves the part where the man wakes up to find his hats gone, and looks up and sees all the monkeys wearing the hats! He asks me to read it everynight, and remembers the phrase "caps for sale." |

| I came across this book when my wife found it on the shelf in a local bookshop.
She read it and encouraged our son to stop dancing around the bookstands and concentrate and read it. Although he prefers video games he loved it. | My daughter received this book for her 3rd birthday, and has loved it from the very start. Infact, since receiving this book she can not wait to go to kindy, which is still another year away.
