| The book is long winded and in essence probably simple enough for anyone to understand. That being said, it does not refer the reader to their private Physicians strongly enough. If you think you have a hormone deficiency, of any kind, a blood test would be in order. NOT buying what You think you need from a foreign pharmacy, as this could be potentially dangerous and or harmful to your body. | I think this is Carl Sagan's best book (he also thought it was his best book). It is so well-researched, so thorough, so informational, yet so readable. This book is a must for anyone interested in human evolution, human behavior (especially as it applies to all our living cousins), and the how and why we got here and they way we are)... |

| The book was listed as new but it was highlighted in. Also, the seller used the wrong envelope and so I had to pay $7 more dollars for postage due at the post office. Other than that it was fine. |

| I liked this manual for quick reference during the class. But when it comes to doing homework, it should be better. At the end of each chapter there is a homework. Sometimes these drawings are labeled differently than the drawings in the chapters themselves. Also, sometimes it's hard to find the answers for the homework questions. I supplemented the info with the textbook from the same author, which would sometimes leave me in the same confusion, or I would use the internet, or the other workbook.

| I'm happy with the purchase of the 4th edition, however it was rated in good condition if I remember correctly and the spine is breaking down each day. I've only had it for 3 1/2 weeks and it will definitely be toast by the end of the semester. It's sure as heck beats the $180 cost of the new edition at school though. I would do it again |

| *A Mind of Its Own* started off fantastic, opening with how witches were burned for having contact with the "devil's rod". However, the book's ending wasn't quite as great, concluding with impotence and Viagra.
