| I adore Goosebumps because I like scary books. The best parts are the funny parts. I get frightened and put the book down and stare at the wall, thinking why am I scared. That's why I give this book 5 stars. |

| My boys, ages 9 and 6 have enjoyed reading the Spiderwick Chronicles, but when I gave them the Field Guide, they were over the moon. Holly Black and Tony DeTerlizzi bring the characters and fantasy come to life. My boys actually reference this guide while going on nature walks, enjoying imaginary trolls and faeries! If your child likes the series or the movie, this is a great addition! |

| My daughter is having difficulty spelling (she's in third grade). She loves this book and uses it often. It's easy for her to find the word she is searching for. She uses it to assist her during Scrabble and when doing her homework.

| We took this book on CD on a road trip from TX to Montana. Boy did it come in handy. My kids were ages 11 and 13 at the time, and they both really enjoyed this book. These kids are not easy to please either. My husband and I liked it as well. The narration was great, and the story was very entertaining. If you are going on a long road trip with kids, this is a must have. We had "Hoot" with us as well, but that was before the movie came out. |
