| I bought this book to read to my four year old. He is very much into politics and can spot John McCain, Sarah Palin and Obama when they're on TV. He loves being read to and really enjoys this book. He's memorized most of it, occasionally tells people that John McCain was shot down when he was flying and airplane, went to prison camp and wants to be president. I am so proud along with knowing some American history, he also knows what a true American hero is. Thanks Meghan for writing this book! |

| My sons and I learned about this book while visiting a friend in the midwest. I ordered it as soon as we returned home. It is a heartwarming story. I especially love it and have used the story for saying good bye at preschool and when I have to travel for business. I think it would also be a cute gift for anyone nervous about embarking on a new adventure, young or old. Get it! This book will become one of your favorites. |

| I used to read this book over and over again as a child and it's sad that I went for so many years without touching it! Upon rereading I was swept away to the backwoods South in a boyhood adventure of hunting, childhood, and friendship.

| Taking only back seat to the first original Fancy Nancy story- we love this book. My kids especially love that Nancy even "scoops poop"- provokes laughter each time we read it. | We all know this book, no need for me to re-iterate the plot.
What makes it work, though, is that Dr. Seuss understood the importance of breaking the rules - something many of his imitators never grasp. He didn't stick to a rhyme scheme or a meter all the time, he varied it and dropped it when needed. That makes his books readable instead of mind-numbing - even when you're reading them for the 1000th time straight :) |

| My 3-year-old daughter and I love this book. The illustrations are so fun to discuss and I really like that the story gives an example of making lemonade out of lemons when something less-than-optimal happens. This is a great introductory book when diving in to the Fancy Nancy collection. |
