| One of my first-grade students pointed out the truth to me: this story does not stay "on the trail", so to speak, of keeping with a connected story. (Ironically, this fit very well with a lesson). And yet there is something incredibly fun about the random creatures trotting themselves out in all their quirky Suessian glory. So no, there is no logical plot, but we get fun pictures and dazzling rhymes that we love. |

| I bought this book for my 2-year-old son and he loves it. He is into trucks and cars and wouldn't put this down. He now knows about all kinds of trucks. There isn't much of a story. He just likes looking at and saying all of the different trucks (such as a flatbed trailer). |

| My sons and I learned about this book while visiting a friend in the midwest. I ordered it as soon as we returned home. It is a heartwarming story. I especially love it and have used the story for saying good bye at preschool and when I have to travel for business. I think it would also be a cute gift for anyone nervous about embarking on a new adventure, young or old. Get it! This book will become one of your favorites. |

| This book made the hackles on my neck stand straight up. Absolutely creepy and odd. It is one thing to rock your sleeping baby, quite another to sneak in your grown sons house (with a ladder no less), and rock him in his bed. This book shows the exact opposite of how to be a healthy parent. Cut the creepy apron strings. DO NOT BUY !!! |

| We didn't like this book. It wasn't about a museum at all; it was about getting motion-sickness on a bus trip. On the way to the museum for the class trip, Nancy's friend is feeling sick. Later during the trip, Nancy feels sick. They pull over to the side of the road and an adult helps Nancy while she's throwing up. | I give this only three stars, but not because there's anything wrong with it. It's just that, if your child is really ready to read, the first set will definitely give them the tools to do so. But once they grasp the "key to castle" of sounding out that that first set delivers, they may be ready for a bigger leap than this second set offers.
