| We purchased several of the beginning Kumon workbooks -- Numbers, Easy Mazes, Tracing, and Cutting. Our three year old daughter looks forward to using her books. The cutting may seem simple to an adult, but it truly requires a young child to concentrate. I have never seen her quite so focuse! For the other books, I tear out and trim the pages, then place them under a clear desk mat. We can write on the mat with dry erase markers. | This is the first magic school bus book we got. It is written for 4-5 years and up to 3rd grade. I was expeting it to read easier, but got use to it and enjoyued it. There are lots of bubbles or boxes on each page. They all have very intersting tidbits & information, but is is hard to know what to read first. Good intro to the solar system, although they are drawings and no pictures. Also, note that Pluto is no longer classified as a planet as it says in the book! |

| The years haven't been kind to this book. The illustrations are somewhat dated and, judging by the other reviews here on Amazon, there's an angry contingent of parents with abandonment issues who would rather you skip this book for a guide to raise Indigo Children.

| I love this book! It's a take on a simple idea of a child playing with the waves. This wordless book doesn't need any words because you can hear the waves churning, seagulls crying and the sweet little girl giggling and screaming just from the simplified art. |

| This book (and the entire series) is a great teaching tool for little ones. Often times, when my daughter needs a "reminder" about choosing her words carefully, we put this in our bedtime story rotation. |

| This book was great for starting my daughter out with writing skills. My wife and I blindly assumed that we should start with the letters in her name (R) but the book has the kids starting out with straight lines (T, H, E, etc...). That makes a lot more sense. My daughter looks forward to working on her letters.
One watchout: I was told that most parents teach their kids to spell there names in all caps. However, I'm told this is very hard for teachers to correct once the kids start school. Only ... Read More: |

| This book is as wonderful today as it was years ago! I agree about the missing Burpers - I want them back! But still a wonderful and fun way to instill principles of courtesy in the reader.
