| My daughter has loved to have these books read to her since she was just over 1 year old. She now "reads" them to herself. She loves the rhymes and the animal sounds. Sandra Boynton is a favorite author in my home. |

| This is truly a wonderful collection of classic children stories if you want to have great variety but have space or money issues. As another reviewer stated, it's ideal for travel or to explore new children stories and decide which ones to buy in a separate and full edition.

| I bought this for my autistic son when he was small as a way to help engage him. We sang and read together every night for months. It left such an impression on me, that when I discovered that my son had lost the CD, I became a little panicky. I really think Philadelphia Chickens is destined to be a children's classic. | My mother used to read me this story as a kid. I always liked it. As I got older, I began to appreciate it even more for its subtle humor. The story is unique and the illustrations should really be admired. I just bought it for my 2 year old and she seems to enjoy it as well. I highly recommend it. |

| We bought this for our 5 year old son, who will be soon entering kindergarten. We read it everynight and he loves it! The text of the story is neat and the pictures are very colorful, has alot of detail, and my son asks many questions. | Absolutely for preschoolers. My son loved this book almost as much as I did. Everything about this book was adorable- the silliness, the electric blankets, and the diving board. He and I couldn't stop laughing. The reader (most likely the adult) will love how often the neutral party isn't neutral at all. I'm an animal lover, so this book will always have a soft spot in my heart. |
