| The author of this book Natasha Wing does a fantastic job describing what a traditional Thanksgiving time is like before and after!!! It's is reminiscent of what Thanksgiving is like at my in-laws house! Both me and my children thoroughly enjoyed reading this book with me numerous times before Thanksgiving!!! |

| Our 16-month-old twin girls have a vocabulary of four words: Ma-ma, Da-da, ba-ba (bottle), and "Pop!" That's what they say when they see this book come out for their bedtime story. They love the pictures and the sound of the words. They look and listen with rapturous interest, and often scream like banshees at the end until I read the book a second time.

| Well, if this isn't now just a modern kid classic? And frankly, I can't resist it either. I'm sorry, but I find this ridiculously funny with it's subtle reworking of key story phrases, the tabloid-style pictures, and the quirky, personable writing. |

| Both of my young sons love pirate stories and they took to this one quickly, although the book needed some parental editing.
Two problems: Jeremy Jacob takes off without telling his parents -- I reinforced with my kids that Jeremy shouldn't leave with the pirates without asking his mother or father. | The artwork in this book is really nice and detailed. But as far as Halloween books it isn't ranking up high for my 4yo son's favorites. He thinks some of the illustrations are "scary" and call me overprotective, but I wasn't thrilled with the devil page. In a year or two I expect my son will like it a lot more. |

| well, as the title of the book suggests, this is a book about good manners, being polite and what not.
My 2 year old girl likes it already, although I think it would be even better for older children, they could follow more easily the stories with their favourite characters from Richard Scarry (great drawings!!!). There are 7 short stories, each of them dealing with a particular topic: how to behave at parties, or with your parents asking for help, or in the street, or with neighbors. all of them are nice ...
