| This book, and the whole Maisy series, is engaging. Even my 3 month old nephew pays attention. The primary colors and simple illustrations keep him and my two-year-old daughter engaged for the whole story.
The drawback is the paper pages; they don't stand up to a toddler. However, my daughter can't relinquish "her" books and doesn't mind tape on the pages. |

| This book was for my granddaughter. She loves Maisy and it is very hard to find books or DVDs in the stores. She was very happy to receive this book. It came quickly, in good condition and the best part for me was that there was no shipping charge. |

| I can understand the frustration of the other reviewer, but this book is really cute! Don't fault Maisy and Lucy Cousins for Amazon's mistake. We have over 30 Maisy books and I would give every one of them a 5 star review. |

| In general, I am not a big Eric Carle fan. Some of his books I do not care for at all, while others I do like. This one, however, I think is wonderful. It is my favorite of his books. I like how it incorporates the days of the week, different foods, and the life cycle of a caterpillar. I like that my toddler can learn all these things in French, and he likes being able to put his little fingers through the holes made by the hungry caterpillar. | I'm always fascinated by what people (apparently even educators) think of as a beginning reader. I think of a true beginner as one who is still sounding out and occasionally stumbling over simple words like: sat, is, and gives. A true beginner in my book also tires easily if there is too much text per page.

| Its kinda my first manga book i read and i was excited by the story. Nice High school teengirl. Nice teen-atmosphere and all that. The only thing that i felt out of balance was that Miki falls (obviously) in love with this guy who don't even want to talk to nobody and on top of that, she said that she wouldn't fall in love with no one. Hiro its cool but kinda touchy. Its a good Story and i'm planing on reading the rest chapters or whatever they called. |
