| This book and CD was not as good as I hoped. I did buy it for my toddler son, however, so maybe it had more to do with him not getting into the music as much as I thought he would. The book is very cute, though, and I'm sure there are many kids out there who love it! As always, the songs are very creative. |

| I know there are probably a lot of people that would gag on the sugary sweetness of this book, but as a book for little girls it is absolutely enchanting. Even as an adult I still adore its sweet little heroine and her bravery and goodness.

| My nine-year-old loved this book, and has loved several in this series. Ms. Blume has a way of relating to the tween reader in a way that is funny and understanding at the same time. Excellent read. |

| I bought this for my friend's two year old son, and she says he loves it. Requests to have it read to him often. I looked at the book before I sent it, it seemed pretty sturdy and was colorful. It shows a few different kinds of airplanes, with a main focus on the passenger airplane and the airport. |

| This book continues to delight children many, many years after it was first published. As a child growing up it wasmy favorite book. Being a teacher I have introduced countless children to the antics of Caddie and her brothers. Recently I gave a copy to my nine year old granddaughter who usually walks around with some electronic gadget. Once she began reading she was hooked and finished the book in one weekend. | At the time of this review, there has been a paltry 3, yes three, a mere trio, of reviews on Matilda. How? Is this not deservingly one of the all-time classics? Crazy stuff. For my money, I'm pinning this odd occurrence on global warming. Anyway...the book! If you read the opening page, you're in. | This is a great entertaining book. With each new page, and what that page revealed, my 5 year old's eyes got bigger and bigger! Fantastic imagination that grips the reader, and keeps her interested. I especially like the illustration of geography of my home country Norway. I loved explaining this on a real map for my daughter, and she was amazed by it all. |

| Yes, it's a book with easy words and big pictures of animals in costumes going to a birthday party. In that respect, it's a children's book. But the depth of the mystery and clues are beyond the reach of most 4-year-olds (and many adults, for that matter).
