| This book was brilliant. It made me want to be a writer. It is of the Harry Potter persuasion (written for young adults/adults will enjoy), but of vampires and better. I devoured this book and the following 2 in the series in days. I can't wait for the fourth to come out August 2, 2008 and the movie made from this first book in December 2008.
One issue: It is not very clear the order of the books, so be sure to read Twilight first, New Moon second, Eclipse third and Breaking Dawn ... Read More: |

| There is a possibly apocryphal story about the late John Gardner who said, to an editor who suggested that his The Sunlight Dialogues ought to be cut by a third, "Which third?" Been a long time since I read that book, but that kept coming back to me in reading The Story of Edgar Sawtelle. Had it been cut by a third, it would have been a vastly superior book.

| I am 34 years old so these books are not just for young adult. I have been addicted since the first book (Twilight). I recommend them all in order. I would not consider myself an avid reader or a vampire fan - I finished the first three books in less than a week! |

| Just a great read. You feel like she's a friend. Or just another soul on this planet explaining what life is like in her (unique) shoes. I don't mind admitting that I find her celebrity, rich/poor life pretty darn interesting. I read this while working out on the treadmill and actually WANTED to walk much longer after my time was up, just because I did not want to put the book down. I think that says it all. |

| The Sneaky Chef: Simple Strategies for Hiding Healthy Foods in Kids' Favorite Meals
I have to say it is an interesting idea for hiding veggies if your children don't like the sight of them, but it wasn't Jessica Seinfeld's to begin with. | I've read David Sedaris' other books, and I wouldn't recommend doing it in public unless you enjoy being stared at by the people around you as you miserably fail to stifle your disruptive laughter. "Me Talk Pretty One Day" proved to be particularly disabling to read: I frequently laughed to the point of uselessness.

| Three Cups of Tea was an absolute joy to read! Greg Mortenson's mission is very admirable and his belief in what he is doing is extremely inspirational. This book gives you an in depth look into the Balti way of life and what's going on politically in that part of the world. It opened my eyes to what the Muslim religion really stands for and an alternative way to defeat terrorism. This book will draw you in and will definitely make you an admirerer of Greg Mortenson and his mission. I'm already convinced to get involved! |
