Anyway, this book is the story of Brian who must survive and endure the hardships of life in the Canadian wilderness. Paulsen is quite detailed in explaining his survival but it gets tedious at times and repetitive. It's a good book for young kids, boys and girls. | I started reading this book to my 5 year old daughter a few days ago and we are both in love. It is funny, thrilling and joyful. The use of language is arrful and clever. I have never, so enjoyed a children's book. I'm either a big child, or this is more than a mere child's play. |

| the book eldest i realy like and have read more thsn once ,but the other day i went on vacation and thought hay ill get eldest on cd and listen to it on the drive. the guy who is readen the book has one of the most annoying voices ive ever heard and he makes eragon sound like a fag and saphira is a female dragon not yoda. |

| A Series of Un-fortunate Events is good reading material for younger children. They probably will want to emulate some of the characters in the books, which would be fine... especially the calm and intelligent Violet. They are interesting stories and well written, I find some of them slow.
