| It's a decent book. It has enough examples and explanations are clear. It also has a solutions guide available to check work, which I find really helps. For some reason, many books don't have them. |

| This text is a pretty good introduction to the subject of heat transfer, and contains a good combination of theoretical treatment as well as practical empirical information (lots of data tables and useful equations etc.). However, the consideration of mass transfer, particularly by diffusion, is very weak. If you are seriously interested in this phenomenon, I would look elsewhere. |

| I used this textbook in an introductory Thermodynamics course in fall 2008. While the text itself is relatively informative, I find it somewhat dry. It did not help me much in my qualitative understanding of thermodynamics; this was best taken care of by talking with a professor or TA. However, the example problems are very good and a life saver when working on the problem set.

| they did not specify the book i was buying was a teacher's edition.
How do you expect one to learn college level math with a book that has all the answers??! it was in great condition, but because it was a teacher's book, i ended up spending $137.00 on a student copy at the college book store. be more specific on what you are selling to others next time. thanks for saving me money! (sarcasm) |
