| This is not only the best book on Warren Buffett (there are over 30) it is one of the best biographies I've ever read. Some reviewers are complaining about the girth of the book and the lengthy stories that are major chapters of Buffett's life. I am a huge Buffett fan and the more info and insight I can get the better! Any true Buffett fan will appreciate the detail and full examination of different times in his life.

| One of the things I enjoy most about Friedman is his ability to distill complex matters (the Arab-Israeli crisis, globalization, renewable energy) into easily understandable components. This book makes the case that we are facing a renewable energy crisis and that the time to act is immediately. He focuses on five key problems: growing demand for scarce energy, a massive transfer of wealth to oil rich countries and their petrodictators, climate change, energy poverty, and biodiversity loss.

| this was just plain awful. I picked up the book after watching a couple of episodes of True Blood. This is one of the rare cases where the show is better than the book. The book has no plot, no character development, no allure. The only thing the book has to offer was sex. In fact, I felt as if she was shoving it down our throats. If you're interested in a true vampire love story, check out the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. |

| So first off the only reason I'm even wasting my time with these books is because I am totally hooked on the HBO series and I don't want to wait years to find out what happens (even though the show is really nothing like the books)...SPOILER ALERT!!! The smartest thing Sookie has done thus far is when she "rescinded" (took back) the invitation into her house from Bill and Eric, which by the way I have never read a vampire book where that is even possible. | The only thing that is true, and has been known in fact for a century, is that dramatic events cause change. On this I can agree with Ms. Klein, and only that.
Where this book careens off into left field, is by blaming this all on Milton Friedman and labelling it Friedmanism - all on the basis of a quote, and completely ignoring the history of the Nazis and the Kristallnacht, or the Marxists and the July Days in Russia.
