| I own a ton of cookbooks. However, this is the first one that I've owned where I actually want to make everything in the book. We made our first two recipes tonight (Baked Shrimp with Tomatoes and Feta and Chickpea and Spinach Salad with Cumin Dressing). The taste was phenomenal and was both healthy and fresh. I've never actually like spinach or chickpeas, but my husband made this and I actually wanted seconds.

| I was disappointed in this cookbook. In fact, it arrived in bad condition due to poor packaging and rather than have it exchanged for another one, I chose to return it and get my money back. The book seemed to ramble on and on rather than having a clear, concise segment for recipes. A lot of it is show casing jamie's garden and there is a lot written on how/when he gardens and what to plant. | I won't repeat the points of reviewers who showed how skimpy this book is on real science, not just footnotes, to back up its contentions. I give it three stars because there are a lot of recipes and SOME good nutritional information. But Fallon's emphasis on a meat- and fat-centered diet is dangerous. I attended a presentation by her last year, at which she made the statement that "vegetables are basically just vehicles for healthy fats." | Great idea! Awful recipes! I think I have wasted enough time, money and energy on this book. I have tried several of the recipes only to be frustrated and disgusted at dinner time. My son refuses to eat anything made from this book, defeating the purpose!
I was extremely disappointed with this book, and wondering how others can rate it so high. |

| I like this cookbook and use it often, but I find that the dinners are much better than the sweets and baked goods. I've tried several of the sweet recipes and they don't work out. For instance I just made the rice pudding and I had to add much more milk to keep it from burning, had to cook it for longer than required but the rice still came out a little hard. It's a strange recipe, you cook it on the stovetop and then bake it. The entrees I've tried have all come out very good. |

| I ordered both the eat clean diet book and workout i received the workout because i ordered it from someone other than JPG they never sent me anything i emailed them several times and to no avail they never reply and now they say its been over 90 days and they are covered under the A-Z policy I think thats so unproffesional so beware and dont order anything from JPG books |

| I have two similar cookbooks that compliment each other. This book gives moms a kick start on learning healthy recipes and it's also a refreshing new look at helping our kids see ways they can eat foods that are yummy and healthy.
The only drawback is that there is a commitment to preparing all the purees each week or making sure you use them in a timely fashion if you choose to freeze some. I also don't have a problem with my kids eating fruits and so the fruit purees weren't necessary. |

| This is the best Vegan cookbook you can buy. I love the Tempeh sausage... so many wonderful recipes. I have one suggestion, however. I would like to see this cookbook in a "spiral" edition with laminated pages. I like cookbooks that lay flat so I can easily follow the recipes. Thank you so much. |
