| I'm kind of bummed 'cuz I saw that the price went down a little a few days after I bought it. I also expected more recipes so that was also a little disappointing. If interested in buying this book, I would recommend checking it out from a library first to judge more accurately how much use you'd get out of it. There's a few ideas and things in there that I may try. But overall, been there, done that. |

| This was a very good purchase. Lots of really healthy recipes. I haven't actually cooked any yet, but I'd say this was a good purchase. |

| I own a ton of cookbooks. However, this is the first one that I've owned where I actually want to make everything in the book. We made our first two recipes tonight (Baked Shrimp with Tomatoes and Feta and Chickpea and Spinach Salad with Cumin Dressing). The taste was phenomenal and was both healthy and fresh. I've never actually like spinach or chickpeas, but my husband made this and I actually wanted seconds.

| I was super excited to get this book after hearing all of the media surrounding Hungry Girl and how weight-watcher friendly she is. I have tried at least 10 of these recipes and every single one of them was disappointing. They were not outright inedible but there are definitely better recipes with low point values out there! | I'll just add to the raves of other readers who found this book to be a wonderful addition to their cookbooks. I must have over 150 cookbooks, and this was on my shelf for quite some time before I picked it up recently. I was amazed at the recipes, and I will turn to this book more and more in the future. I'm trying to incorporate more vegetarian meals into my diet, but beyond that, I just find this book to be quite useful in all aspects of my menu planning. I will now reconsider other books by Mark Bitman. |

| This cookbook has lots of (probably very good) vegan recipes - so in that regard, it's great -for vegans looking for lots of vegan recipes in one book.
But as far as cookbooks go, this book does not excite me. Not because it's vegan, but because there are almost no pictures. | I won't repeat the points of reviewers who showed how skimpy this book is on real science, not just footnotes, to back up its contentions. I give it three stars because there are a lot of recipes and SOME good nutritional information. But Fallon's emphasis on a meat- and fat-centered diet is dangerous. | Great idea! Awful recipes! I think I have wasted enough time, money and energy on this book. I have tried several of the recipes only to be frustrated and disgusted at dinner time. My son refuses to eat anything made from this book, defeating the purpose!

| I checked this book out from the library and decided I had to have it! It sits out on my counter most of the time. Many of the recipes are made with staples that I keep in my pantry and refrigerator. I can grab it and throw together a quick, delicious dinner after work and get away from the boring old standbys that I usually use when I'm too tired to think. |
