| I also own a copy of Windows XP for Dummies Quick Reference by the same author. I was very happy with Windows XP for Dummies which is why I decided to purchase this book. Greg Harvey, PHD does a great job with both books.

| Although the friends that I bought this book for are enjoying it, it doesn't give them the minute details that they really need. They have never had a computer before and this book assumes they know more than they do. We forget how overwhelming the computer was for us when we first got started and assume that everyone has a basic understanding of what to do. If this book is truly for dummies, it needs to be really basic for such people. |

| I have had several years experience with QB (for Macs) and have recently started to use QB for PCs. First off let me say the transition from QB for Mac to QB for PC is a vast ocean of difference (I think I have even caused a professional bookeeper to pull her hair out over it). As a side note, I would never CHOOSE to use the Mac version of QB- so if you have a choice or are jsut setting up - save yourself some sanity - go for a PC.

However, it was not until I reached page 4 that I finally was advised that "This book isn't really intended for end users." Just another dummy book. This one is okay I guess, but not as good as the others that I have read. Too much of the goofy stuff that is really not needed, even for dummies......unless you are really into goofy reading material. I like a little humor in anything, but less would have been more in this one! |

To my amazement, this book does not shed any light on things like 1.) how to redirect a domain name I already own to my wordpress domain name 2.)
