| This is a wonderful book for boys who like adventure. My son is dyslexic and doesn't like to read but is required to read 3 over the summer. It's hard to get him interested in any book, but he liked these, and they are a fairly easy read but still sophisticated enough to keep a 10 year old interested. |

| The Great Brain is one of the best all time books for boys ever written. In my humble opinion of course. The prose is engaging capturing the attention. The stories are exciting and compelling. The chapters are just the right length. And it has all the elements that young boys love from Cowboys and Indians to cops and robbers. What more could you ask for?

| This is one of those books that is without a doubt an absolute classic. Every time I read it I love it more. It has everything a good adventure story should have--runaways, danger, mysteries, living in an abandoned boxcar. And yet none of it is too threatening, which makes it perfect for young readers. Warner's stye is one that is no longer seen, but it's a marvelously understated way of telling a great story while still maintaining decent emotion. |

| Bought this for my daughter who is entering third grade. Personally I am thrilled she is reading books I read. She is borrowing from the library but she received the first few from an aunt and we have purchased what she can't find to borrow.
Well written with an appropriate sense of humor for her age level. As a teacher I'd say they are probably appropriate for grades 3 through 6 or 7th grade dependent on their reading level. |

| The Great Brain series was my favorite as a child and are now my son's favorite. The only difficulty is tracking down all the books at a reasonable price. These books need to be republished and introduced to generations to come. Fantastic books!! |
