| Wonderful book. Lots to look at and discuss. My son cannot get enough of this book. It has been his favorite for at least three months so far! We wore out a yard sale copy and bought a new one! It is a great distraction in the car and at restaurants. Excellent at bedtime. Richard Scarry is great. |

| This book is very small. That makes it nice to carry around, but hard to see the little drawings on the pages. Our 15 month old daughter doesn't understand all the crazy cars (pickle car, toothpaste car, etc.), we have a good time reading it occasionally. If you're interested in a Richard Scary book, I would recommend a larger book with more going on on each page. My nephew has a huge one that he loves to stare at. |

| Ed Emberly's books are so great. If your child can follow visual directions and draw a line, circle and color in, then he or she can draw these things. My son is five and can draw these. He is quite smart and loves trains and trucks, so those are probably factors. When he isn't drawing from the book, he loves to look at it. Great for boys. |

| I bought this to give to my nephew with the matching Tonka truck. I probably wouldn't have had I taken full note of the book's dimensions and the fact that it is NOT a board book, nor a hard-cover. It actually got lost in the packaging and for a moment, I thought it might have missed the shipment!
It might be nice to read aloud to your toddler (the images are nice) but you won't want to leave your tot alone with it as the book will become damaged quickly. |

| My six-year-old asked about how cars were invented, and we purchased this "easy reader" as an introduction. My six-year-old and four-year-old sons like the story. At the conclusion of the (abbreviated and simplified) account of Henry Ford and the Model T, there is an historic photo of Henry Ford which is pretty neat. |
