| I put these in goodie bags for my daughter Lucie's birthday part and they were a huge hit! We love all of the fairies (rainbow, gem, weather, etc). Yeah for Rachel and Kirsty and all of their adventures. |

| This book is not for engineers, but it does provide a good bit of history which was enjoyable. The drawings and instructions are average and are made for the average person. I did not buy this book with the intention of making any of the devices described within, but did buy it with the intention of knowing how exactly they all work. In that respect, this book was great! |

| I bought this book without ever having seen the show, thinking it was *just* the thing for my 8-10 yo Cub Scouts. I couldn't have been more right! I was surprised to learn they *all* watch it, and love the show, so I made sure to catch it for myself and my family. It's a great way to talk to young boys, and to get the shyer ones to talk to the other boys. There's not much by way of 'how to', a lot of it (and the show) is geared to 'don't try this at home'. | This was bought as a Christmas gift for my 9-year-old son and it has been a big hit. The book is big and colorful and has great photo layouts of the "insides" of all kinds of neat devices. The photos and captions explain how the devices work. If you have a child who is always asking "How do they do that?" or "How does that work?" then this book is a great choice. |
