| I made Scorpion part of my advanced summer reading program because of its description and the awards it has won. The story is about the life of a boy who is a clone of a drug-lord. I think the book won the awards for the issues it raises such as morality, cloning, and prejudice rather then the quality of story or writing. | What a fun read, sure to please even those who are reluctant readers. It has everything a young person could want -- exploding volcanoes, a haunted closet and boogers! Another plus -- it is a very fast read. I laughed out loud as I read the antics of Mac and his friends. I can't wait to read it to my fourth graders. I know they will enjoy it as much as I did. I'm ordering the next two books in the series. |

| This was a great book with a perfect lesson about bullying. I read it with my daughters aged 5, 7 and 9. They really got the lesson. |

| This is the first magic school bus book we got. It is written for 4-5 years and up to 3rd grade. I was expeting it to read easier, but got use to it and enjoyued it. There are lots of bubbles or boxes on each page. They all have very intersting tidbits & information, but is is hard to know what to read first. Good intro to the solar system, although they are drawings and no pictures. Also, note that Pluto is no longer classified as a planet as it says in the book! |

| My son read this book to me for reading but it can just as easily be read for health or science. He really likes these books while he does not care for the shows much. In this one they take a trip through Ralph's body and learn about the main systems - digestion, circulatory, nervous... Recommended for ages 6-9 years and 3rd grade reading level. |

| I read this book before sharing it with my children...and I learned a lot! It's a beautiful book with an eye-catching cover and fantastic illustrations. A very likable adult character explains scientific concepts to a child character, so it's easy for the reader to understand. More information is in sidebars, so the reader can choose whether to delve deeper into the subject.

| I used to watch the series on PBS when I was younger! It's great to see my daughter getting into this now! She loves the series of books and DVD's I purchased for her and just can't get enough of them! |
