| And librarians and the kids they share it with will love this book. The detailed pictures beg for young readers to take a closer look. Baby bats wear swimmies on their arms. A water fountain is turned into a great splashing pool. Characters from books kids know and love make frequent appearances, and the library setting reminds us of the venerable institutions we all remember, or at least wish we'd grown up with. This librarian says the book is not to be missed and I'm off to order my copy now. |

| My son loves this book and it is his first request every single night lately. The twist on "Twas the night before Christmas" and the cadence to the book makes it an easy book to read before bedtime. |

When I was a child, this book took my breath away. I felt like I was living the incredible adventures in the story, from riding the Birthday Bird to choosing the tallest pet to eating the giant cake. I think this story inspired the adventures I try to create in my own writing. Now that I'm a mom, I still love this book. | My son really likes this book and is currently requesting it most every night. At four years old I don't think he has any idea what a Haunted House is, but he loves seeing the monsters, ghosts and skeletons.

| We really enjoy this series- we read to our 5 & 3 year old boys
each night...just two or three chapters. They love the MT stories. Easy reading. |

| We bought this to teach our son about Thanksgiving (he loves books) and he really liked it. It's a cute little book to read around the holidays especially since there aren't a lot of Thanksgiving books out there. I would recommend it to anyone. |

| The artwork in this book is really nice and detailed. But as far as Halloween books it isn't ranking up high for my 4yo son's favorites. He thinks some of the illustrations are "scary" and call me overprotective, but I wasn't thrilled with the devil page. In a year or two I expect my son will like it a lot more. |
