| This is a wonderful treasury of stories and pictures designed to keep young children amused and entertained. Gentle lessons in how to be polite and be a good member of a household are delivered with humor, questions to the reader, and brightly colored illustrations.

| This is truly a wonderful collection of classic children stories if you want to have great variety but have space or money issues. As another reviewer stated, it's ideal for travel or to explore new children stories and decide which ones to buy in a separate and full edition.

| This cd is a miracle. I have a four year old and a six year old who have a very difficult time falling asleep and allowing themselves to relax. It is a struggle every night. If I didn't see this for myself, I would have never believed it. Within ten minutes, both of my children were fast asleep. Lori's voice is very relaxing and I can't wait to order another cd. |

| I think that Brian's Winter is an interesting story. The author is Gary Paulsen who has written many great books. Brian's Winter is the third book after Hatchet. The book "The River" comes after Hatchet. Brian's Winter tells about what would have happened if Brian didn't get rescued out of the Canadian forests when he did and how he had to go through a strong and cold Canadian winter without and supplies besides the stuff he rescued from the plane. | Although it doesn't make as regular an appearance in our bedtime reading schedule, the Stinky Cheese Man does produce giggles.
My kids are too young to know all of the fairy tales this book is busy shredding in the name of parody. That's OK. I plan to reintroduce this to them when they get older. For now, all I have to do is provide the Stinky Cheese Man with a high-pitched, pseudo-Spongebob voice and read the text as "fast as I can" and I've got a happy audience at bedtime. |

| I read excerpts of this book to my at-risk secondary students and they really enjoyed hearing about how to make their writing more full of life. It really brought the writing process to their level and helped them internalize the importance of writing. |
