I can't help but feel a bit sad, though, that his grandparents can't make it. This is for ages around 4-6. |

| I bought this book for my five-year-old grandson before his tonsillectomy. He absorbed the information that was read to him and sailed through the procedure with flying colors. He knew exactly what to expect, so he calmly did everything that was required. It was a tremendous help in preparing him. |

| I bought this book based upon my 7 year old son having a lot of anxiety issues with school related issues. I read this book to him the first night, and I have not been able to put it down since. EVERY night around bedtime he asks me to read him his relaxation book. He goes through the motions of closing his eyes, and really trying to relax. After about 1 week of reading it to him, he can start relaxing on his own. |

| My parents gave me this book when I was 3 or 4. I remember reading it over and over and over again for a very long time. The characters are very cute and very vivid. To this day, 20 years later, I still have my original copy that sits amongst the other classics in my bookshelf. It is even complete with my 4 year old handwriting on the inside cover: "This book belongs to..." written on the inside. I have loved this book for 20 years, hopefully you will too. |

Another of Helen Lester's entertaining and yet educational books. I had not seen this one until recently. What a fun way to teach a child about listening! |

| This is a great Halloween story for the Kindergarten set! It's just scary enough - but not too scary. My son loved it. I actually think it's a very good story and the illustrations, as usual, are great. This would make a good gift, too. |
