| I bought this book because my daughter bought one at her school for "us" when she was very young(separated because of divorce), it was lost in a move and it had sentimental value for both of us...it's not "the one" she bought, but it's just as good and in great condition. |

| Brian Lies is an amazing children's author and illustrator!!!! The details in his pantings are incredible. If you are able to go and listen to one of his readings and book signings it is more than worth your while. He is wonderful with children and really takes his time to describe the development of his stories and pictures to parents/teachers/adults. I can not say enough about this author. | Just a cute, silly, kinda pointless book about hippos and their love of their belly buttons.
My sister and I have taken to quoting this book at random intervals throughout the day. It grows on you. It's not as catchy as most of Boynton's work, but it definitely has its own charm. |

| I bought this for my Grandaughter and she loves it. I think the fact that it is such a large book is nice as well. |

| I bought this along with the author's previous book, The Kissing Hand for my grandsons in Seattle. The little brother(age 2 and 1/2)was beginning day care and having separation problems. His aunt, my other daughter-in-law who has older children, suggested both books. The sleeper book, A Pocket Full of Kisses turned out to be the favorite of the big brother (age 5)and was selected for show and tell at kindergarten. |

| I picked up this book to read with my son, and I have to say that we didn't find it particularly funny. Certainly not as funny as the other Morris books. We had about two chuckles in 64 pages. Which is not to say that the story is bad. It hangs together well and provides some very good kid-friendly examples which show why it's good to attend school. | Recieved this as a baby shower gift because we like bats and already I love to read this as our bed time book. Gorgeous illustrations, nice flowing story and perfect for an evening reading. Though I would have loved to have this on a board book; I don't let the baby play with the book. |
