| I love the books of David Wiesner, they are imaginative and fun. He has amazing talent. Even as an adult I enjoy looking back through his books, just to admire the gorgeous scenes. It's a classic for any children's book collection. |

| Series book. The large, readable print makes this good for children to read.
Summary Frog and Toad are friends who share life together. I love the "To Do List," which includes "Wake up." Lobel wrote and illustrated more than 70 books. This book received a Newberry Honor Award. Illustrations I love the fresh and pleasant green and brown pictures, as did my children. |

| This is a good book of a few rhyming couplets featuring fairy tale and nursery rhyme characters, perfect length to catch the attention of a young child - and enough detail in the pictures to keep the attention of an older one!
For those people who are concerned about this sort of thing, there are some references to "the Wicked Witch" (she's not shown being any more wicked than anybody else, and she eats pie with her neighbors at the end. | My daughter (30 months) loves this book. We have to read it everyday. She is intrigued by Froggy putting together all of the ingredients to bake a cake. She also loves the "flop flop flop" of froggy "flopping" off to another area. It's a very charming story. I'm going to look into the other froggy books. (Illustrations are great!) |
