| This is truly the most realistic, culture-related, fantastic, adventurous books Farley has come up with! My eyes where glued to the pages at all times. And in some parts, I was even rubbing gooseflesh from my arms. This is an excellent read! Must buy for young and older Black Stallion lovers! Please check it out, it's worth it. |

| I am 12 years old. This book is FABULOUS! Any horse lover will love this book, and share the feelings with all the characters of the book, such as Julie and Danielle. It is very life-like and you can relate to it. It is a sad story, but very happy at times. I would recommend this to ages 10-18. This series is truly the greatest and I can't wait to start #2, "A Horse Called Raven". |

| Steven farley's books aren't quite as good as his father's, but I really like them. I think they should be longer though. It's just not enough reading! I love that he made Alec cute. I always knew he was! Hehehe. Anyway, i highly reccomend this book to anyone who's already read all the Black Stallion books and still hasn't had anough! |

| This was an uninteresting book. I loved reading about Alec Ramsey and the Black Stallion, but these books just don't cut it. The plot is predictable, the style is babyish. It's just not worth the [monry] I put into it. Most horse series these days are becoming dull and boring, and this is no exception. I realy wish authors would get creative instead of shooting off sub-series from the original ones! Mr. Farley, you could have done so much better than this! |

| The book was good and I think it will be great for younger hores lovers. It has alot of horse talk so you need to really know horses to understand the book. |

Everytime I am in a bookstore or a library and see this book I want to reread the whole series. That is actualyl what brought me here this time.
