| I came across this book when my wife found it on the shelf in a local bookshop.
She read it and encouraged our son to stop dancing around the bookstands and concentrate and read it. Although he prefers video games he loved it. | Instead of purchasing birthday cards this year, I purchased several books and wrote a personal message inside the cover. I then passed it around at the birthday parties and invited the guests to also write a message. This will be a wonderful keepsake item for my children and my nieces and nephews. |

| I used this book in my classroom as an example for my students to write thier own story. My 3rd and 4th graders loved the story and it worked great for the lesson I was teaching. |

| The years haven't been kind to this book. The illustrations are somewhat dated and, judging by the other reviews here on Amazon, there's an angry contingent of parents with abandonment issues who would rather you skip this book for a guide to raise Indigo Children.

If I HAD to answer the question: What is your favorite children's book?, I would have to pick "Stellaluna." There, this children's librarian committed, but I think my students would know that. | My 18-month old carries this book around with him during the day. The photos keep him busy and he loves turning the pages.
There really isn't a story to the book. Just animal noises. Fun to read and I've heard him practicing the noises when he looks at the book himself. Cute book. I'm glad I bought it. |

| Mo Williems catches all the excuses kids can think of to avoid sleep. My 3 year old daughters typical excuses are 'I need a glass of water', 'I'm not sleepy at ALL' rubbing her eyes, even 'I have to clean the house'(taking a hint from my wife who has a habit of cleaning while I put the kids to bed.)
This book is hilarious because you can totally relate. I love how with each turning of the page, the background gets darker and darker. I love his Pigeon series but I have to say that this is my favorite. |

| This isn't one of the pigeon books where you talk back to the pigeon. Instead, the pigeon talks to the Special Guest Star - the Duckling!
My nieces (aged 5 and 2.5) can literally recite this one by heart. And they will! Oh, they will. They love every page of it, and if that's not a good recommendation, I don't know what is! They even (especially) love the inside covers. On the front inside cover there's a lot of hot dogs, but on the *back* inside cover one of the hot dogs has been cut in half ... Read More: |
