| He should have stopped at #4 really.. 5 just went too far and this one is kind of ridiculous. Sure it's got the same nice balance of humor and action, but I just kept finding myself asking why on earth this book was written at all. Sure, big picture it's good, but for Colfer, it's just doesn't measure up to most of the others. |

| Another stellar installment in the Percy Jackson series. The labyrinth details are inventive and fascinating and the revelation about Pan is though-provoking. These books are fun, funny, and educational. Keep 'em coming! |

| I was disappointed with Deathly Hallows. The book for the most part is an engaging and entertaining read, but I felt the ending was a letdown. JK Rowling has shown herself over the course of the previous six books to be a master of the surprise twist, of taking the expected, the conventional, and standing it on its head; in comparison, the conclusion here feels flat and cliche to me. | Our pediatrician recommended this book during my daughter's 10-year-old regular check up. My daughter has been reading it without much prompting. It's a good overall book for this age range. It is what I expected. |

| My 2 sons, ages 8 and 10, LOVED this book. They actually fought over it, since they both wanted to read it at the same time. Fighting over a book? This never happens at my house. Sure, they fight over the computer or Wii, or whose turn it is to feed the dog... but a book? Usually they argue with me why they don't need to read...Anyways, while they were reading the book, both of them shared some highlights with me and they were very funny. | I never know whether my son will like a book that I choose for him, or whether he would discard the book and return to his favorit addiction - his Nintendo DS. Diary of a Wimpy Kid arrived when I was at my office, and I gave him permission to open the Amazon package in that I knew what was inside. By the time I arrived home from my office, my son had not only begun reading the book, but he had actually finished the book!! His sitter stated that he pushed aside his video games and his Wii to read the book, cover to cover!!

| I love the Greek Mythology It's a great change from fairy stories. Its a different kind of magic. I have read all the books in this series except the 4th book I am still getting to that one. I love how the main character is not Hercules. Percy Jackson is a new kind of Hero. |
