| this is a neat book, but way too in-depth for our 2 year old. we were searching for good books to help him understand what to expect with our new baby coming. i recommend this one for older kids (4+). |

| This is a nice board book that introduces children to growing up. A kitten becomes a cat, a caterpiller a butterfly. Nice art work and children love it!

| My 2 year old son loves this book. We read it over and over. This book is laid out for toddlers to follow easily. Simple, catchy phrases and great illustration. We have another Mercer Mayer Little Critter book that he likes a lot as well so we plan to purchase more for Christmas! |

| I have a 2 1/2 year old and bought this book thinking it would be a great introduction for our little guy. I read two pages and realized this is not the book! This is a great book for older kids, but definitely not for preschool age. Too clinical and way to complicated for little ones.....again I would not recommend unless you have older children.

| This book was loved by my three nephews (one is 4 and the twins are 2). I was already their favourite aunt but I think I actually moved up a few notches on the scale with this one.
On my one week stay with my sister, I read this book to my nephews at least once per day. The four year-old liked it so much that we performed a show with puppets for the whole family based on this book. |

| A great book to prepare your toddler for preschool. Nice illustrations and a great story of a boy elephant, Daniel, and his first day at school.
What was amazing is the fact that children can associate with Daniel, given the fact that the author does a fantastic job portraying all things, emotions, activities that preschoolers are facing every day at school.
