| This is truly a wonderful collection of classic children stories if you want to have great variety but have space or money issues. As another reviewer stated, it's ideal for travel or to explore new children stories and decide which ones to buy in a separate and full edition.

| Of all the books I received as baby gifts, this book has had the longest lifespan. It was my daughter's favorite book as soon as she was old enough to turn regular pages, and almost a year later, it still is. Unlike shorter board books which become very repetitive, this book still has poems that seem "fresh" to me. Everytime we read it's a different experience, depending how many pages we turn at a time. | I don't remember if there were size dimensions given for this book, but I expected it to be twice the size. I have other books from this author and publisher and they are nice and big and easy for me to use in class. This book is really too small for me to read to my class. I am sadly disappointed. |

| my little girl will ask me, long story or short story? depending on what time it is and how tired I am is how we decide. When it's late, we always go for a short story, and she always picks this one. My girl and my son gather on the bed and read our favorite book. We've read it so often, they'll recite the words as we read. Always puts us in a good mood and gets us ready for bed. What a joy!. |
