| my 19 month old still loves this book.. at around 13 months he would come to me with the book and tell me 'mom MOOO' ... then we'd read the book together, he loves the animals and the words are so easy to memorise so even though we read it a million times (cuz he loves it that much) i can do other things while still reading him the story by heart as he turns each page.
Also , because it is a nice light read I don't mind reading it over and over again as young children seem to constantly want! ... Read More: |

| What a treat to buy this for a friend's baby. My youngest child LOVED this book because as others have pointed out, it is fantastic! Just reading the words results in a great rhyme and makes you dance. You can't help it. Babies love it, toddlers love it, and parents love to read it, even the 4,999th time. It makes everyone smile. We wore the cover off and had to buy multiple copies. What a great author, love all her books but this is by far our fave. |

| This is a counting book, so, if you know how to count, you know the drill.
It's a lot funnier than most counting books and, bonus, pretty durable. I really recommend this book to anybody who has not yet (shock! horror!) bought anything by Boynton. Those who *have* don't need *my* advice anymore, do they? |

| My 3 year old loves this book- because of the short rhyming phrases, he was able to memorize the book after only a few readings, and now "reads" it to me. He has alot of fun with it and I think it will help him as he starts recognizing words. I have turned into a big Boynton fan! |

| This is one of our favorite books.
The chaos caused by the monsters (more sensitive kids might get upset, I suppose, but my nieces don't) is done in a funny way, and the fact that the BIRTHDAY MONSTER CLEANING CREW! fixes everything at the end makes it all better. Very catchy text, really funny illustrations. Perfect for a kid's first or second birthday. |

| This book is incredibly adorable. I love reading it, and my 21-month old son loves hearing it. Well, not so much anymore...he made me read it over and over again, probably a hundred times in 3 weeks, and now he has it memorized and no longer wants to read it. But he can talk about the Statue of Liberty, can pick out the Washington Monument and U.S. Captiol, and can tell you who lives in the White House.
